Cancellation Policy

In consideration of all of our valued Guests, and your dedicated Session Stylists, we require 24 hours’ notice to cancel any appointment, and a credit card is required to hold your reservation. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment, same day cancellations, or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service or services booked to the credit card on file. By booking your appointment you acknowledge that you understand this policy and agree to the terms.

Session Stylist Requests

Love your Session Stylist? We do too! Feel free to request your favorite Session Stylist and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Just keep in mind, sometimes conflicts in scheduling arise and it might become necessary for us to move appointments around after booking. So, while we encourage requests, we can't guarantee all requests and your Session Stylist is subject to change without notice. Don't fret! You'll be in great hands with any of our talented Session Stylists.

Hair Extensions

Extended mane?! No problem! We happily service clients with extensions, however, an additional charge will apply. You should review our menu or inquire at the location for pricing ahead of your scheduled appointment. Further, we are not responsible for extensions that come loose or are damaged during the wash or blowout. We recognize that extensions are expensive and delicate; we will be as careful as possible in handling them, however we cannot assume responsibility if they come out or are damaged as a result of a service. Consent for Waxing (if applicable)

By booking a wax service, I authorize Mane & Mani and its employees to perform a waxing procedure and fully understand this procedure has limited applications. I understand every person is different and there is no guarantee that side effects will not occur. I am aware that waxing may cause inflammation, welts, hives, reddening or small breakouts. By booking an appointing with Mane & Mani, I certify that I will disclose any allergies as well as the use of antibiotics, topical acne medicines (including, but not limited to Accutane, Differin, Retin A, Prednisone or Corticosteroids).  I understand and acknowledge there are risks involved with the waxing procedure, including but not limited to those side effects listed above. I understand any false or misleading information I have given may lead to undesired results and complications and hereby waive Mane & Mani’s liability if such results or complications occur. I further understand my failure to follow post care instructions may also lead to undesired results, complications or effects and hereby waive Mane & Mani’s liability if such results or complications occur. In addition, if any complications or concerns do arise, I will notify Mane & Mani within 24 hours. If you have any questions or concerns regarding waxing, please ask before you book your appointment.

Does the price of a blowout change with the length of your hair?

Nope, never.

Can I add a braid to my blowout?

Absolutely. Each braid is $10.

How long does a blowout take?

For most hair types and hair lengths, the service is about 45 minutes. If you have particularly long and/or coarse hair, let us know when you make your reservation and we can allow for additional time.

What if I have tape-in or bonded extensions?

Absolutely! An additional charge applies. Please review our menu for pricing.

Do you offer clip-in extensions for sale at your style bars?

Unfortunately, at this time we do not.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

What if I cancel because of a snowstorm?

We understand that from time to time inclement weather can make life a bit more challenging.  If the style bar is closed due to weather conditions you will not be charged.  In the event that this occurs you will receive a call or email from our staff letting you know.  

Can I set up a “standing” appointment at the same time and date each week?

Absolutely! Many of our Guests do this.

Why can’t I cancel or change my appointment online?

Our system allows you to modify your reservation up until you are within the 24-hour cancellation window.  During that time, you are subject to our Cancellation Policy and you will need to give us a call to cancel your reservation.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and cash, but unfortunately, we do not accept checks.

Can I pay for gratuity on a credit card?

Yes, absolutely.

Will you give my stylist the gratuity if I put it on a credit card?

Yes, it will automatically go into their next check.

Can I pay for gratuity using a gift card?

Unfortunately, no we cannot accept gratuity using a gift card.  However, we can take credit or debit cards for gratuity.

Why do you require me to pay for a service when I book online?

Our online booking system requires that you have “credits” for the desired services(s) in your account when making your reservation. The credits are allocated to your reservation and will be applied once your service is completed. If you have credits in your account, from a package or membership, then you won’t need to make any purchases. However, if you do not have credits that you can apply, the system will prompt you to load your account with the service and then assign the credit to your reservation. We won’t use the credit until you check out or in the event you late cancel or no-show for your reservation. 

This also makes your experience more efficient. There’s no need to check out at the front desk, you can just enjoy your service and head out for your day.

I am having trouble booking online. I received an email receipt for a purchase but no confirmation for my reservation. What happened?

Booking online requires two steps: After you have selected your time and date, you have to credits in your account for the service you are looking to book. If you do not have credits, then the system will prompt you to purchase the credits you need. After purchasing your credits, you will need to go back and book the time in order to allocate the credit(s) you purchased to the reservation. If you are receiving the receipt but no confirmation, it might be because you missed the last step. Try to go back into your account and pick the time and date again.

Do you require a credit card on file to make a reservation?

Yes.

Why do you need my email address?

We use your email address to set up your online booking account, and to send your confirmations and reminders. We also use the information to avoid duplicate entries or differentiate similar names in our system.

Can I request a specific Session Stylist?

Absolutely, but please keep in mind our request policy below:

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! We do our best to accommodate walk-in requests. You can also call ahead or check availability through our online booking system.

Which nail polish brands do you offer?

We offer polishes from familiar brands such as OPI, CND and Dazzle Dry.

Are your polishes 3 free?

Yes, all of our polishes are at least 3 Free, some are even 7 free and vegan!

Are UV lights harmful for my skin?

To help keep our Guests safe, we only use LED lights in our style bars, not UV lights.

What is the difference between GelColor and Shellac?

These are similar products from different, competing companies. GelColor is OPI’s product, while Shellac is made by CND.

How long will my manicures last?

That depends on your at-home regiment, and the polish you select but we find that GelColor manicures can last up to two weeks, while traditional polish can last from 3 to 5 days.

What is Dazzle Dry?

Dazzle Dry is an innovative alternative to gel polishes. It is long-lasting, quick drying without the use of UV light, nontoxic (vegan and hypoallergenic) and beautiful. 

Does Dazzle Dry require Soak-off?

No. It goes on and comes off just like traditional polish.

Do you remove Gel by soaking my hand in a bowl full of acetone?

 Never! We use professional gel removal wraps, and condition your cuticles with oil after each removal.

What does your Makeup Application include?

This is a full-face application. You can also customize your experience by adding Faux Lashes or Air Brush Foundation for an additional charge.

Do you offer Airbrush Foundation?

Yes!

Do you offer Faux Lashes?

Yes! We offer our own line of re-usable, luxury, 100% human-hair lashes. They are included with every Faux Lash Application.

Do you offer both hard and soft waxes?

Yes. For the flexibility and comfort of our guests we offer both.

Do you offer Bridal Services?

Brides are our jam! We offer hair and makeup services for Bridal Parties, both in store and off-site. We can also arrange pre-Wedding Day festivities such as mani-pedi parties for your rehearsal dinner or Bachelorette Party.

I’m concerned about hygiene and sanitation procedures. What do you do to protect Guests?

You are in luck – we’re a bunch of CLEAN FREAKS! In most cases, our sanitation methods exceed state board standards. We take thorough steps to ensure our Guests’ safety and you can read all about it. For instance, we sterilize all of our implements utilizing dry heat sterilization or autoclaves, and we only use sterilizers that are FDA approved and reach at least 340 degrees. 

How does the unlimited wax package work?

The Unlimited package is a one-year, unlimited waxing pass. You can come as often as you’d like at no additional charge.

I’m addicted! I’d like to come more often, but I need to save more money, what are my options?

Do I have to get a membership in order to have services done at Luxebar?

No.  Everyone is always welcome.

Do I have to sign a contract to be a Member?

No. There’s never a contract or commitment.

Can I cancel anytime, for any reason?

Absolutely. Anytime, for any reason. No exceptions.

Is there a cancellation fee or an annual renewal fee?

Nope.

How about a sign-up fee? Are there any other hidden costs or fees?

No. When you sign up you pay for your first month. No fees.

Will the price ever go up?

There are no contracts, commitments, cancellation fees, etc.  So if anything ever changes, and you are not happy, you can always cancel your membership without penalty.

Can I choose the date to start billing my membership?

Yes. You can chose the day of the month you would like your membership billing to recur and each month it will recur on the same day of the month.  For example: if you chose August 1st, your billing would recur on the first day of each subsequent month.

What happens when I cancel my membership?

You can use the remaining services, as applicable, for up to one year and the next month you will not be billed the monthly membership fee.

Will the unused services rollover to the next month?

Yes. Unused services rollover and can be used for up to one year from the date they are loaded into your account.

Who is considered a direct family member?

By “direct” we mean spouses, children, siblings, and parents.  For example: cousins would not be considered direct family members, but your sister, husband or daughter would count. 

What happens after I have used all of the services in my membership for the month?

That’s the best part! Additional services are billed at the Member’s Only Price. If you have an On the Rocks Membership, you still get access to discounted nail services, brow waxes, makeup applications, etc. So, as a member you will gain access to every day savings!  Members only pricing does not apply to promotional or special events, bridal, group events, and Kids menu pricing.
